Thank you very much Antonis for all these details ! As you are our only source of answer, may I ask you some more questions ? - is IJC/OPM really a viable solution for somebody without a densitometer (assuming you would like to achieve results similar - quality wise - to QTR) ? - How long do you think it could take to build a correct UC 8 ink profile (I own an epson 4000) from existing one assuming you've fully read the manuals and have basic knowledge on curves ? few hours ? more ? Thanks in advance for your help ! --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "Antonis" <antonisphoto@y...> wrote: > > Joe, > you may want to contact BowHaus directly for questions on upgrades etc. > http://www.bowhaus.com/contact/contact.htm > > I believe IJC/OPM works on win2000 but I have only tested it on XP pro. > Better to ask at Bowhaus for an official answer. > > Very gradual toning can be achieved because it depends either on how > you build your profile (you can do split toning within a profile too) or how > you build your alpha channels in photoshop. > > The paper/ ink profiles are meant as starter profiles.
