The 1160 can do 13" UT-FSN with a simple curve on matte paper very well.
Forget glossy with the 1160.

The C84 carts are much easier to deal with.

From your previous post, I noticed you are using C86 and 7500 UT FS 
inkset for your B&W work and you have been recommending C86 with EZ 
B&W ink.

A friend wanted to sell his C84 and I have a old 1160, what would you 
suggest, buy his C84 or ???

If C84; use warm inkset or neutral inkset?
If 1160; use UT FS or FSN?

I think the only advantage 1160 over C84 is able to print bigger size 
but what about quality?
