Digital BW, The Print

I noticed on Paul's website that the chip resetter used for the C86 is 
modified.  Does that mean it cannot be used for, say, chips on refillable 
1280 carts?  Is another chip resetter necessary?

Have been using filled MIS carts and am changing to refillables.  New to the 
chip resetting part and a little unclear on the processes.  Just refilled a 
UT2 cart for my 1280 and the printer doesn't recognize the cart.  It did 
recognize a newly filled virgin MIS cart.  I assume that is because I 
haven't "reset" the chip.

Any/all clarification appreciated.
