Me four too!! I got my package yesterday, came down off the ladder (I'm re-siding the house), washed my hands, and sat down with the prints. What an experience! What struck me most was how the different techniques, papers, inks, cameras, etc., contribute or allow such varying expression. These are tools like any others, and our task is to realize our vision through them. In my own work, and, of course, in working with my grandfather's photo's of China, I am looking for transporters (think Star Trek) to another dimension, point of view, time, space. The images in the package achieved this (for me). In the best of them, the qualities of the paper, tones, and blacks were the introduction to each new reality. A kind of vertigo as I left my kitchen table for one place after another. Thank you all so much, Bill Morse PhotoProspect Cambridge, MA on 11/14/01 12:26 AM, Todd Flashner wrote: Me three!
