Thanks for all your suggestions. I do have a Nikon 28mm lens in my sites, but ink and paper have made my visa bill too high as it is! 

(BTW, has anyone tried the Sigma 28mm 1.8 lens?)

One thing I found useful was to look at my web site and recall the photos I've taken that I'm pleased with - it boosts one's confidence to look back at one's favourite shots.
