Digital BW, The Print

Hi all,

Just found the forum and joined immediately, seems like the kind of place I can get some 
useful advice.

I have just purchased an Epson 7600 and I am enjoying investigating all the printing 
possibilities with it at the moment. I have the UC inks installed at the moment, and as a 
rule I will be printing both monochrome and colour images. I find I am having the usual 
colour cast problems when printing black and white images which I want to resolve. 

I am going to try out Roy Harringtons Quad tone RIP for my inkset, but in the meantime if 
anyone has any advice about alternative RIP's or software that doesn't cost the earth I 
would be grateful.
