I have been very satisfied with both the general performance, cost and gamut of the cavepaints. When I first bought the printer, I sold off the OEM ink cartridges that came with it, then bought CP cartridges (from inkjetmall, i think) and so didnt have to deal with cleaner cartridges, ets. Given that I live in SoCal with relatively low himidity most of the time, I do get clogged nozzles if i leave the printer for a week without turning it on, but no more than i experience with a 2200 running Epson OEM ink. As far as monochrome prints, that is why i am trying to get QTR setup with this ink set. My initial impression is that it will be fine --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com, "john dean" <deanwork2003@y...> wrote: > > How do you like those Cave Paint inks? > > Any clogging? > > Are you refilling carts with them or using a CFS? > > I am quite interested in how the color gamut compares to UltraChrome as well as how the > monochome prints look in regard to metamerism? > > I may condider the Cave Paint for my 10K printer down the road? > > John
