Sounds reasonable. Unfortunatly, as I was looking at unclogging my 1270 (if possible) and loading it with UT2.

Yes. With Epson PK and MK, you can even do it if the half full cart has been sitting around for 2 or 3 months. It costs you very little ink, less than 5% of each cart in the machine (the 2200 doesn't know how to purge just one cart when you change inks, it has to do them all) but that's still just $2 or $3 in ink.
