Digital BW, The Print

As I read the various posts by Mr.Roark and other seeming-scientist-
types here, it seems the best Dmax AND the only well-researched
archival pigments/dyes are Epson OEM, not UT7 or others...as of today...

...and UT7 is perhaps NOT as black as Epson OEM, its archival
characteristics are essentially unknown, but it can be useful because
it's colder (bluer) than Epson OEM.

...all of which might argue against Black Only, unless one wants that
particular tone effect? 

Is this the concensus as of today?  

Inquiring minds etc. 

I'm enjoying QTR and Qimage, along with all-Epson OEM currently.
