It might be a TIFF file format problem. If the file is not saved as a straight TIFF, no compression, no alpha, IBM format, try saving it that way. If that works, we will probably need a copy of the image to see what is wrong. -Stephen http:\\www.sbillard.org\Stephen -----Original Message----- From: Kip Cole [mailto:kipcole9@...] Sent: Saturday, January 15, 2005 5:44 PM To: DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com Subject: [Digital BW] QTR 2.1e/QTRGui 2.12 Printing horizontal line at bottom of image After a "cleanout" and install of the 2.1e version (was previously using a version several release older with batch files) my images are all now printing with a horizontal grey line of about 3 pixels wide along the bottom of the image (looks like along the bottom of the photoshop canvas). It's definitely not in the image file (well, I've looked hard). The line shows up in both the QTRGui preview window, and on the printed page. This does sure suggest it's an image file problem I know, but I just can't see it in the files, and files which used to print fine now also have the line. Anyway seen this, or got any clever ideas? (could find anything similar in an archive search) Regards, --Kip [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
