Pieris, 2200 OEM inks with QTR has a slightly coarser dither in the highlights than my FS based 1280 using Epson driver. But, that is not a function of the RIP, rather, the numbers of different shades on inks used. So, if 4 shades of gray are used with QTR on the 2200 it will be even finer. However, 2200 OEM inks+QTR is sufficient for all needs other than looking at prints with a 4X loupe. And it is so easy! My first print with it came out PERFECT! Hope this helps.
