>This is good because I hate spraying. >How will this change the color range of my current UT2 inkset? With the sliders, the range moves to more neutral -- that is, cooler. I just printed some PremierArt 205 with the sliders at 0 and the midtones were right on neutral. (I think PA 205 does better with curves, however. It, like many rag papers, has cold shadow tones which can be better profiled with curves. So, I'm refining the UltraSmooth curves now to optimize a set for PA 205, which I think is a great cotton paper value.) The curves, of course, work just as before, except for the sepia curve (which becomes extremely light). >And, is there any indication that Bowhaus or QTR will support the new >glop cartridge? I know experimenters with both are working with Glop and the 2200. I don't recommend either program for the 1280, however. My experience is that the Gimp print dither is slow and gives a weak dmax. The starting platform for IJC, for example, is the 2200 as far as I'm concerned.
