I'll have to look again. I did a quick QTR vs Curves experiment on EEM
last night and found QTR to give more tonal separation (higher
contrast) in midtones, but I was not paying attention to Dmax.
Otherwise I am using QTR exclusively on my 1280 for glossy papers with
Eboni K (soon to try both QTR and your curves with Photo K).
