Have you tried simply lifting the lid of your printer and looking
inside? I just did (a flashlight might help, depending on the printer)
and  IMO the assembly Steve referred to is quite easy to see (but you
have to look first).  ;-)

In fact, with my 2200, there are already a couple of colored "Sharpie"
dots (one black, one red) on the top edge of that toothed plastic
assembly. As Steve said, ability to loosen the screws and change the
setting would require removing the entire cover.
