Thanks for the reply Steve! I understand what you are relaying. I do however have a couple of questions for clarification. >....Think of QTR as simply a tool to say to the printer "spray from that cartridge at this rate when receiving this image value".< Does the newer version of QTR allow me to do this? To individually control what ink cartridge is sprayed when? Has anyone developed a process to replace any of the existing cartridge spaces with glop using QTR? >....I think your choice of inks is better determined by other factors than whether you will spray. For example do you want to move to a dedicated B&W ink set?< Right now the answer is no. I know it is heresy but I also like to produce prints in color. I am looking at possibly purchasing a Epson 4000 in the future at which time one printer could be dedicated to B&W. With that understanding, & with the 13" vs. 17" size difference aside, which printer would you recommend dedicating to B&W? Also, would your go MIS inks using QTR or Roy's solutions? Please keep in mid that I would really like the ability to product great prints on E surface looking papers in both b&w and color! Thanks again, Bruce
