Kevin-

Tom O'Connell heads up the SF bay b&w inkjet printing group that we started
up back in 2002. You two should coordinate to maximize participation.

Subject: [Digital BW] Photography Made Difficult (SF Bay Area)

I get a lot of informaton about printing from this list but one thing
I rarely see, given the nature of the internet, are actual physical
prints. The opportunities for sharing and talking about photos in
person down here in the south bay are a bit poor. So, in line with
that thought (and the recent "need inspiration" thread) I've decided
to start a new group via meetup.com: http://photo.meetup.com/339/

I expect (actually hope) it will be small at first, but aimed at
showing, sharing, talking about what people want from their
photographs rather than a lot of fawning over the latest equipment
marketing or worrying about competing in the local CCA stats. Just a
group about making pictures.

Anyhow, if readers are in the area they're welcome to check it out. We
now return you to your regularly-scheduled mailing list.
