You are welcome. BTW I should have said 16 bit not 8 bit. Poke around under the hood a little and things will begin to click. Also run the Graph Curve programme that Roy has (I think it is still in the current download set). You just launch it and then drag a .quad file (from your CurveDropBox under the app CurveDesign...Mac users) into the window and then hit return. Look at the chart.
