Re: [Digital BW] Coating HVLP?

2005-02-07 by Brian Mikiten

If I under stand correctly an HVLP is a spray gun of sorts, is this correct?
Also
Is there a good water-borne coating I could use on Premium Luster. I really
had using the solvent based stuff.

FWIW, I tried some coatings using a Fuji HVLP sprayer a while back and found
that it took quite a bit of practice to get it right. They work with any
time of coating that can be atomized (into a mist) but you'd want to get a
good size group of prints ready before spraying. The HVLP (high volume low
pressure) sprayer was $800.00. I'd suggest avoiding the cheap-o models.
