Unfortunately, the C86 doesn't do BO very well...I've never been able to get rid of the banding, and I've never heard of anyone successfully using the C86 for BO. The most effective way to use a C86 as a dedicated B&W printer is by using one of MIS' EZ inksets. Eboni in black, and EZ or EZW in the CMY positions.
