As a practical matter, I think the perfectionists might want to do fine-tuning of their machines. From the feedback I get it seems like most people with similar printers get reasonably close results, but the ones I've seen indicate that they are not exact copies. So, whether its driver version differences or mechanical differences, most are fairly close, but there may be some that are not so close. >> Thanks, Paul - food for thought. I have found with third party colour inks (Lyson Fotonic) generic profiles are way out and only a competently made custom profile will give accurate color. The question for me then would be how much time, ink and paper it takes to customise the curves. Tim
