Actually, Scott, it has been customary in the shareware world to "tip" the authors that never charge an upgrade fee. What the heck, another $5 or $10 for the one who makes your life easier with a $600 or $1500 printer. I save that much in ink with upgrades. Cases in point, Qimage and Vuescan. I send extra every once in a while --when major updates come out (e.g., ver 2.0 to 3.0) Seth -----Original Message----- From: Scott Jones [mailto:peanutdogs@...] Will Roy be doing a QTR for this printer as well? It would be soooo nice if we won't have to wait a year. Perhaps the rip will be virtually the same as for the R800. Should we all chip in to get him an R1800 when it comes out?
