Absolutely. The best storage you can do. It even extends the usable expiration date on pro film. Figure one year out for color; at least two years for B&W. Thawing is the PITA. Give it a day in the refrigerator, then warm it gradually in the room for another day. If you go too quickly you can get condensation on the emulsion.
