Re: [Digital BW] Torchon and Structure Price Comparison

2001-08-10 by mwesley250@earthlink.net

Steadman,

Thanks for all the good info. Cutting down the larger sheets is a
great idea on these expensive papers. I have perfectly good Rotatrim
collecting dust.

The rebranding does make the price comparisons a chore but I think we
can get that all sorted out and easily available.

That is compared to the digitalartsupplies.com (DAS) price of $72.95
for (10) sheets of Torchon 11x17. And if you cut the 11x17 in half,
you are getting 50 sheets of 8.5 x 11 for $53.30 which is darn cheap
for such a nice paper. (By the way, Torchon is one of my top three
favorite papers).

pen....and I think you will find it is not acid free on the back
(...I could be mistaken as I tested this weeks ago and do not have my
notes at this location). That may not matter to some folks, but it
is important to me.

Aspen Moguls) printed with very good black...also probably a result
of the bright white contrast to the eye. Structure is also "only"
$39.95 for (10) sheets of 11x17 at DAS versus $29.09 for (20) sheets
of Mogul at Mediastreet.com. That's right...twice as much paper for
less dollars...hard to believe isn't it?

(well described in their website and catalog) and if you really
want/need something and need it badly...always check them too...they
may have it. I found their customer service to be very
responsive...but then again so was the nice customer service rep at
mediastreet.
