Digital BW, The Print

I've used red=100, green=0 and blue=0. I've also had good results
with red=130, green=25 and blue = -50.

Am I undermining the detail in highlights by running the red up so high? Can
anyone give some examples of channel mixer settings that have worked well
for them?
