Digital BW, The Print

hi all newbie here, alls been fine for over a year and now kaboom -
won't print, can't figure out what's up.  Tryint to download cleanout
which is a .exe and wants to open in Imageready(??) - it won't go. 
Any suggestions about cleanout?
