Hello Clayton, It's good to be reminded of this time and again. This, too, has been my experience and yet often times I have an irresistible urge to run cleaning cycles immediately. With my 1160s it's more like a couple of hours, or even overnight, instead of minutes of letting the cartridges rest. I'll bet it's the frantic cleaning cycles before the cartridges are ready that cause some of the monster clogs that may take days to clear.
