Lascaux fixative

2005-03-04 by jimpegoda

After searching the archives I see that Lascaux fixative is the most
recommended fixative for protecting matte prints from scuffing
without reducing the dmax too much. I've been putting my matte
prints in protective sleeves and have noticed some burnishing in the
black areas when I pull them back out and I'm hoping the Lascaux
Fixative will protect them from this. How long should the prints
cure before spraying them with solvent based fixatives?
