Hello all, Have a problem with installing my printers. Epson 2100 and 1270. I had them flawless installed under Win 2000 prof. Now under a clean installation off Win XP prof. and SP2 there is a problem with the Status monitor off the 1270. Let me explain. I installed first the 1270 and that went fine. I could see the status monitor and the ink levels and printing no problem. Then I installed the 2100. Could see the status monitor off the 2100 and ink levels BUT not anymore the ink levels in the status monitor off the 1270. Printing is no problem only that the status monitors says that there is no USB connection but prints anyway!!! I de installed the 2 printers and first installed the 2100 and there after the 1270. In doing so in the installation procedure off the 1270 I got a message that there was no USB connection (but there was a connection) and went on installing. The same problem no usable status monitor for the 1270. Printing is not the problem because I can print even with the message " no USB connection" But I can't see the ink levels, also when I go into: printers and faxes\ properties 1270\ Printing Preferences, which is a problem certainly when printing A3+ !! Is there anybody who have had a similar problem and what could be the cure? Epson in the Netherlands does not react to my e-mails nor answers the telephone. Seems they have not paid their bills since the telf. number they give for "out of warranty service" does not ring!! Bert
