I thought some of the folks here might be interested in a bit of test data that we ran this weekend. I printed out a 21 Step Tableb on Epson Archival Matte and H. German Etching using the Piezo inks, MIS FS spectrum inks on my Epson 7000. We then let the strips dry overnight to obtain dmax. The strips were read on a MacBeth reflection densitometer. As a comparison, we also read a platinum print made on Cranes Parchment using Potassium Oxalate contrast mix #3. MIS FS - 1.70 Piezo - 1.60 Platinum 1.55 As a baselin comparison, Epson OEM dye inks resulted in a solid black with a dmax of 1.9. The density difference between HGE an EAM was around .01 (negligible) Mike
