I have been struggling off and on with my 7000 trying to get it up and running after replaing heads, dampers, pump assembly, and capping station. Before I replace a fuse on the main board I want to eliminate one final thing. When I do the cap distance setting procedure I am now getting a read out of 2.645mm. The manintance manual does't tell me what is the proper distance it should reflect but the number in their sample chart shows .2500 mm. The odd thing is when I look down from the top at this head/cap gap it looks like the connection is right on and in alignment Am I so far off that ink is not flowing correctly through the heads and I may not have to change that fuse? Sometimes the inks is flowing to the lines down below and sometimes it isn't when doing initial fill and cleanings. Right now nothingis going down there. The right print head has never worked since replacement with two different new heads. It isn't easy installing that new cap assembly but it looks level and straight to me. But that gap really bothers me. I just don't know anymore. Any suggestions? John
