This is normally only used for printing test charts when profiling a printer, because it allows you to measure the uncorrected behavior of the printer. As to what you should be using, we can't know that unless you tell us what kind of printer you're using, and what mode you're printing in (e.g., black ink only; using a RIP; using quadtones in a color printer; etc.). For color prints, or for B&W prints using color inks, one normally specifies the profile for the printer/paper/ink as the print space, and then makes sure the driver isn't doing any further conversion.
