Moises, using Roy's QTR (which I have been demoing several weeks), the 2200 uses the regular OEM inks (well, in his case, he is refilling his PB and MB with MIS inks) without changing inks at all. This was what intrigued me about this RIP and why I chose it. I have been contemplating making my 1280 a dedicated B/W printer for over 2 years since I got my 2200 but never quite got around to it. With this RIP I don't have to do that. I print a good bit, but I still felt it would require a lot of printing keeping 2 printers going. I agree with Roy---life is a lot less cluttered using only one printer. I'm contemplating moving my 1280 out of my work area finally (meaning I won't feel the need to run something through it at least once a week to keep it from clogging--whether that has done the trick or not, its what I do LOL).
