A note to all who use the  1280 printer and Paul's VM Hextone MIS curves:

Try the backlight film media setting. I get MUCH better blacks using
this setting than with any other, except the plain paper setting, which
you can't use on most papers because of the lack of shadow detail.'

This setting produces exceptional blacks with Legion PhotoMatte paper,
Eclipse Satine, and Epson Archival matte.
