If it was because you followed my telegram style message on that subject not so long ago I'm sorry. I should have written cover the entire glassbed but the white balance strip. The original carrier is a good template for that strip. There are two of those strips actually, the transparent one mentioned here and a white plastic one for reflection scanning just inside the hood. If you get problems with lengthwise stripes in your scans it can be the result of dirty white balance strips. The other cause can be dirt on the mirrors inside. Wonder what you think of this wet mount method after some practice. Main advantage for me was overall sharpness and lighting the same over the entire frame. So less problems with sharpening etc afterwards in PSCS. But there are more advantages Ernst
