Digital BW, The Print

I know this is not exactly on target but I am having a problem with raw
images being accepted in PhotoShop. I have PhotoShop at home and at school
and the one at school works great with my raw files. But my computer at home
 every time I try to load one of the raw files PhotoShop just closes or I
get an error message saying it cannot read the file format.

Can anyone help?? I assume it is a setting I must have but since I am using
the same version etc. I can't figure out what is causing this. Any help is
appreciated.
