Hi Bob, I stand corrected. Somehow I have problems priming the C80 carts which have poppet valves. So I thought I would warn Jim of this possibility. Maybe next time when I have to work with them I'll take a closer look. It's possible that I may not have pushed the adapter in far enough to open the valve. Are the 1280 EZ fill carts the same as the spongeless carts? Can you usually just pop in the cart and start printing right away? Almost? With my 1160 sponge-packed carts I have to let it stabilize for hours before I even dare to turn on the printer.
