You'll have to still print about 20 letter size prints of a 4 color flush image to get out all the old ink. I went from Piezo to the MIS VM variable tone inkset, and had no problems. The two inks are totally compatible. Jerry >> Then I turned the cartridges upside down, and sucked the new ink (MIS) back down into the cartridges. Hi Jerry: Could you clarify what this means? I'm thinking of going from Generations color CIS to MIS quads. I have been using the Variable Piezo, but if I can get the same quality at a much lower cost, I'll try it. All the best! -Andy
