Re: Paper jams when printing on reverse side - Hahnemuelhe / Epson 1280/1290

2005-04-07 by Djon

...same thing with my 2200 using 300gsm Entrada Natural (two sided
paper), which I feed through the standard top slot. In fact it
struggles with the first pass when I'm feeding 13X19 (my favorite size!).

The fix is easy. I stick the paper in the printer, flex it forward
gently once or twice, then print. Then, when I flip the paper I flex
the new top side (opposite side) forward again. All this does is
predispose the paper to flex in the direction it must in order to pass
thru the printer. The paper retains no curve at all when it comes out
of the printer after one or two passes.
