Digital BW, The Print

I searched all the way back to message #1 for the keyword "encad" but 
didn't really find much talk other than some passing things about the 
old Ilford quad inks. Anybody using something like an old Chroma 24 
with any kind of archival black inks? I know the resolution is very 
low by today's standards (300x300) but those printers are pretty 
cheap on the used market, and the GO black ink is pretty cheap too. 
People say that the old Chroma can produce wonderful color prints, 
but I think this may be an extreme exageration, just wondering if 
anyone has tried one of these with a quad black ink set. Thanks, Greg.
