I get what, to my eyes, is a better sepia print by not blending two different curves and instead using the sepia curve alone. If that's too strong then I switch to warm alone and if that's still too strong then I blend a little cold with the warm. I don't know which different inks in which different proportions are used for "sepia" and "warm" but there doesn't seem to be a huge difference between them, sepia looks to me just like a warmer version of warm, at least on EEM. -- Original Message ----- From: "Scott Graham" <gebilwil@...> To: <DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Wednesday, April 13, 2005 9:57 PM Subject: [Digital BW] Re: Can this be done with the QTR? There are sepia curves too. So put a cold (or even warm) curve in the first position and the sepia one in the second position and try different mix %'s. Though I'm not sure how well they match a darkroom sepia which is what I presume you are referring to. Also on the QTR group we are in the midst of a discussion on editing curves to get the color that you want, very cold black in my case.
