If you go back to the days on here when the original MIS quads were the only option, it's been discussed many times since then. In testing by IPI et al The slight warming of Photorag that tends to show as the OBA's lose their effect has always been an issue. But once that has happened, the effect stabilizes and doesn't continue over the longer life of the paper. So there is a steeper curve in the first part of the life of the paper/ink combination, but it tends to level off and equal that of similar non-OBA papers if I'm remembering the figures correctly (it's a while since I saw the charts). I think Hahnemuhle were supposed to be bringing out a non-OBA version of Photo Rag weren't they? timothy atherton
