How did you find "Beyond the Zone System" the first time you read it? Like any new system this takes time until you truly understand and can apply it. Acceptable quality is a good start. What you can get with a custom curve depends on how much effort you put into the custom curve and (perhaps even more importantly) what you feel your current prints lack. >Is there any possibility that the family of > curves that came > with QTR will be expanded in the future to include > Velvet Fine Art > and Watercolor Paper? This depends on the interest level and generosity of the Roy and his collaborators or the QTR user community. Certainly one way for it to happen is to learn enough to create the curves you need and donate them to the group. > Is there any one who has > created custom curves > for these papers who would be willing to share them > with others who > for one reason or another aren't capable of doing > the job for > themselves? Curves for for other papers have been contributed by Carl and others. Perhaps the ones you need will be contributed at some point. What can you do to forward that effort? > Guy __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail - Find what you need with new enhanced search. http://info.mail.yahoo.com/mail_250
