Yes, it has a 16 bit setting but you can't set the desired output
resolution. I really suggest you try Vuescan. Be sure you have the
latest version. I've just tried it and it works better than the
program I got with my Rebel - it doesn't bother with the accompanying
jpg file, just the CRW.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
