I'm not a Canon apologist though a Canon shooter for a good long while, both film and digital. The FD lenses were non-AF and I still have some but that happened a long time ago (aobut 19-20 years ago)--and I would never trade my new EF lenses for those. Since then every lens is totally compatible with every Canon SLR and DSLR--EXCEPT for the new EF-S lenses which only fit the Canon 300D, XT and 20D--and allow the 1.6x format to have a much wider lens (10-22 for instance which translates for 1.6x to 16mm). But---nothing wrong with Nikon either in my book. Perhaps Nikon isn't so bad. -- Peter Tucker Roomboxes Etc www.roomboxes.com 3675 West 29 Ave Vancouver BC Canada V6S 1T5 604 224 3928 [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
