Steve, my understanding is that 'some' tele FD lenses can be used with this converter and the EOS1 series. Never tried it, haven't seen anything much about it. And--of course, you would have to lose AF since there would be no 'connectivity' as far as I can see. http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photography/companies/canon/fdresources/fdlenses/fdeos.htm Then again--I'm not even sure this will work with series other than the 1 since the mirror box, etc. is different on the XT to accomodate the EF-S lenses. Not sure how this converter really would work with them.
