Digital BW, The Print

Welcome to the forum, glad to have you join in.  I think it has been
pretty well established that the 800 does not do BO printing, and
early reports, to the best of my knowledge, have confirmed that the
1800 is the same.   It seems to be more of a consumer level machine
geared toward color printing on glossy paper.  If you need to upgrade
the 1280 now, I recommend the 2200.  If it can wait for a few months,
there's a new 2400 coming soon that may be even better.  From the
information that's been released, it seems to be specifically designed
to satisfy the BW market. There has been some discussion of it here
over the past couple of days.  It seems worth waiting for.
