Yes, the ink would rub right off (MIS and Piezo quads) so I over sprayed them With Lumijet image shield and they look great! A little on the ilfochrome look side but nice press prints for scanning that seemed to be able to take some serious handling(slight bronzing) I will not try that in the darkroom again.
