I am not saying he is a quack or anything, just that I would not send any money(if I knew how much):) without knowing more about the product. I did learn from searching the Epson 3200 group that he has some interesting thoughts about reducing un-needed light around the carrier to improve the S/N ratio. It makes sense to this layman.
