Right on! I might think a perfect printer would be a 13x19 capable (or wider carriage) printer with 5 slots for the EZ ink set with both blacks. Or even fancier, 8 slots, both blacks and then slots for both the W and N versions of CMY :-) Driver picks the right black and allow for configuration of mixing W and N inks. Simple sliders and a nice print preview feature built into the driver. A nice test pattern TIFF supplied to print out and help calibrate your monitor well enough without any fancy gizmos. Of course, economical refillable carts and the printer should cost just about $150 :-) Ah, a man can dream. Anyway, printed out two 5x7's on my C86 just today using eboni and EEM matte paper. Fantastic little setup. Seems like it's gaining a bit in popularity via word of mouth on mailing lists and web site discussion groups. I hope MIS supports this config for a good long time.
