Digital BW, The Print

I started noticing the roller marks a couple of weeks ago when I was
printing an image which had large areas of black; I did the "zip-tie"
thing to the output rollers and it seems to be gone now.

The rollers themselves are spring-loaded and will push up into their
carriers (you can push them up with your finger).  Just cut all but
about a quarter-inch from a small zip-tie and wedge it between the
little front loop of the carrier and the wheel while you have it
pushed up.

There was a thread somewhere about the pizza wheels which noted that,
near the left end of the row of wheels (looking down inside the
printer) there is a little white wheel on a black carrier.  This
wheels is just to the left of the last pizza wheel, and about 4" or so
from the far left side of the printer.  The flat piece of metal that
the wheels are mounted to moves up and down easily; you can lift it a
bit and force this wheel down with your finger - it will "click" and
lock down, lifting the pizza wheels enough to eliminate the marks. 
(At least, they seem to have on mine so far.)  Someone also suggested
 wedging something under the metal piece to hold it up, but if you do,
I'd make sure it was fixed in place so that it might not work its way
out and damage something.  Also, make sure it doesn't rub the bottom
carrier as it moves back and forth.

*** Obviously, you should be careful when trying these out - if
something seems like it is about to break, stop!
